Willston-West Church

The "Apple Tree" is our local mission. It is structured on a "giving tree" concept that generates needed items for three youth-related organizations: Reiche Elementary School, Portland West Neighborhood Center’s Learning Center, and the Center for Grieving Children.

While the Apple Tree is an ongoing effort, the committee hosts several apple "vending" times during coffee hour each year to tell people about the three organizations and encourage them to pick apples and fill the indicated needs. We also provided flyers of volunteer opportunities at each of our sponsored organizations. In the past year we have delivered many needed items and we are grateful for the generosity of the Williston-West church community. We plan to continue our sponsorship of the same three organizations in the upcoming year.
