Our Mission Statement

We are a community of faith and joy brought together by our belief in the teachings of God as revealed to us through Jesus Christ in the Holy Scripture.

We welcome all who share this belief or who wish to explore it in word and in deed.

We seek to be an inclusive community that feels diversity is a source of strength within our community of faith.

We also affirm the varieties of religious belief and welcome our contacts with members of other faiths.

We are stewards of an historic house of worship.

We care for it and preserve it not merely for what it has been in the past but for what it will be in our present and future mission to God's people.

Our mission is to worship God so that we are brought closer to God's teachings, so that we grow in the love of our fellow members, and so that we reach out to the wider community in ways that let us live our faith.

As part of our mission, we have special responsibility to assist those who are afflicted or less fortunate.

We owe special obligation to the children of our community - that they be raised in the wisdom of God and Jesus Christ and in the love of their church family.
